Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Interested in knowing more about the Catholic faith or becoming a member of the Catholic Church? —  OR — Interested in welcoming and supporting those who are inquiring about the Catholic faith?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a document of the church that gives us guidelines for the process we use to welcome and initiate people into our Catholic Faith Community. The “Rite” makes it very clear that welcoming and initiating people in the Catholic Church is the responsibility of the entire faith community.  If you know someone who would like to know about the Catholic faith invite him or her to come with you Tuesday evening. If you don’t know someone interested in knowing more about the Catholic faith, you are still welcome to join us on Tuesday evenings to help welcome those who are inquiring. All of us who are Catholic can show our support for those who are inquiring about the Catholic faith by remembering them in our prayers.

If you know someone interested in the Catholic faith, please fill out the form below or print out this page, fill it out and place it in the collection basket at Mass.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Deacon Denny Bivens at the Cathedral Office, 218-281-1735.
